Why Christian Education?

What does it mean to be a Christian School? 

At Cornerstone Christian Academy it means that we are a Protestant school, serving our wider community by providing Christ-centered schooling.

Christian education means presenting Christian truth and demonstrating Christian life.  We begin each day together in a chapel service of Morning Prayer, a Bible centered devotion with origins in the English Reformation, and a Virginia tradition since 1607. Additionally, our students learn the Bible, some passages by heart, and the main tenets of the Christian faith. We believe that the Christian faith also informs all our studies, no matter what the subject.  A biblical perspective or world view comprises all our subjects.
