Our Church Affiliation

In order to maintain our commitment to a Biblical, evangelical, and Protestant faith and its expression that has been a part of life in Virginia for more than 400 years, Cornerstone Christian Academy associates itself with the Anglican tradition and Christ Church (Anglican) of Appomattox.

We understand that the 39 Articles and 1662 Book of Common Prayer define the faith and practice of the English Reformation (Anglicanism).  We understand that fidelity to these standards does not preclude adaptation for local and contemporary use as long as the faith is kept entire.  We further understand that our "statement of faith" represents a faithful summary of this faith, and that it is sufficient as a means of subscription for those who will serve our Lord Jesus Christ in the setting of CCA as teachers, administrators, board members, or in such roles as might be deemed appropriate.

Biblical and Theological instruction at CCA shall be in accordance with the evangelical, Biblical, and Protestant faith of the Anglican tradition.  Daily chapel shall be conducted, and ordered, according to the Prayer Book form of Morning Prayer.  The pastor of Christ Church will provide for the spiritual oversight of Cornerstone Christian Academy.
