Admissions
Parents wishing to enroll students in Cornerstone Christian Academy
must fill out a student application for each student. Each new
student application must be accompanied by a $125 registration fee
(maximum $250 family fee), a recent report card, and copies of
standardized test results (if available). Returning students pay
a $75 re-enrollment fee if re-enrolled by January 31. Returning
students who re-enroll after January 31 will pay a $100 re-enrollment
fee. When materials for new students have been submitted, an
interview will be scheduled for the family with the headmistress and
the principal. While we prefer to conduct the interview with both
parents (if living with or if financially responsible for the student),
we understand that due to unforeseen circumstances, it may be possible
for only one parent to be involved in the interview. We do
reserve the right to place students in the appropriate instructional
level as determined by test data and developmental maturity. The
Commonwealth of Virginia requires that children must be five years of
age by September 30th to be eligible for kindergarten, and six years of
age by September 30th to be eligible for first grade. In addition
to the registration form and fee, kindergarteners must have a completed
health form before beginning school in the fall. Each year,
parents will receive a parent commitment form that should be signed and
returned to the school. Registration fees are nonrefundable if
space is available and the child is accepted. If no space is
available in the class requested for a particular student, the student
will be placed on a waiting list.
Tours
We urge those interested in admission to Cornerstone Christian Academy
to schedule a tour of our classes. This tour will provide insight
into
our unique program and offer an opportunity to have questions

Tuition and Other Fees
2008-2009
Kindergarten - First Grade ... $4,147.00
Second - Sixth Grades... $4,357.00
Seventh - Twelfth Grades ... $4,567.00
Tuition Discounts:
10% discount will be applied to a second family
member - discount to be applied against the younger student's tuition.
15% discount will be applied to a third family
member - discount to be applied against the youngest student's tuition.
20% discount for 4 or more family members attending
our school. Discounts to be applied against the
youngest student's tuition.
Application fees: $125.00 per student, maximum of $250.00 per
family.
Books and supplies are extra and vary by grade. Please ask for quotes.
Field trips and miscellaneous fees are extra.
Parents are responsible for transportation to and from school. Daily
bag lunches are to be provided by the parents.
Financial aide is available! Please ask!
Full annual payment in advance ... 5% discount (if paid by August 5th
of school year). This discount does not apply to students who
receive
financial aid.
Tuition and fees may be paid in 10 monthly payments. The first
payment is due by August 5th. A $30.00 late fee will be applied
to
all monthly payments received after the 10th of the month.
Tuition Assistance
In recognition of the financial sacrifice that many families make in
order to send their children to private schools, Cornerstone Christian
Academy offers a Financial Aid Program. If your family has
a total family income of less than $50,000 a year, we encourage you to
request information about this program. Cornerstone Christian
Academy utilizes the services of the Family Financial Needs Assessment
Group. Necessary forms are available in the CCA office. The
family completes the information and returns it to FFNA. FFNA
then sends a confidential report to the CCA Headmistress.
Financial aid is provided based upon the results of this report and the
available funding.
